On Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, the first official footage from Divergent will debut. If you can’t wait that long, Summit Entertainment has been kind enough to release a brief teaser. It may be only 13 seconds long, but is a glorious 13 seconds. When you have that sexy beast Theo James, Nikita‘s Maggie Q and Kate Winslet in the same movie, you know it’s going to be epic.Divergent is set in a futuristic Chicago where people are divided into five factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior Shailene Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a sinister plot to destroy her kind, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.
No doubt Divergent will be the next huge franchise. It’ll give The Hunger Games a run for its money. Tris is so the new Katniss. Divergent hits theaters on March 21, 2014. Check out the teaser below.
