For all you middle children out there, today is your special day. Let’s face it. The youngest one gets the attention for being the baby. The middle child… nada, zip, zilch. With no special “role,” the middle kid often gets lost in the shuffle.
Probably the most well-known television character to suffer from middle child syndrome is Jan Brady. Remember her infamous quote, “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.” For all you Jan Bradys out there, Today is your day to celebrate your birth order and get some recognition.
