I think
about this every time someone shares their story about getting dumped.
Without context, usually people side with the person who got dumped and
make the other person out to be an evil bitch. But I wonder, how many of
those stories were because the other person finally got the courage to
break off an unhealthy relationship? Maybe the guy or the girl was
emotionally abusive, was an asshole, didn't care about them, or maybe
they just lost interest. Or, maybe they really did just break it off in a
really shitty and inconsiderate way, but you have to remember you don't
have the full story.
Breaking up with someone doesn't automatically make EITHER one a bad person, sometimes it doesn't work out and that's fine. That's what dating is for. Unfortunately hearts don't break even, and that's a very normal occurrence.
