I like doing things alone & sometimes with other people, too. But I never understood why people think it's strange to be fine with doing things alone. When a friend in another city wanted to see a movie but couldn't find anyone to go with, I suggested he just go. He said, "No, I don't want to be that pathetic person." I was taken aback. Since then I've encountered a lot of other people who seem to feel that way.
