Effect of Demonetization: Currency Problems in India

Two days back when I went to check for cash at a nearby atm from home;, this one elderly woman fell on a bank employee's feet, begging him to let her in. She said she has been trying to get in for three days to get her pension money changed. Has very less money to buy groceries.

The employee just looked uncomfortable, reassured to let her in and disappeared. The woman kept crying her eyes out sitting in the middle of the road. It was horrible to watch.

The funny thing is people who criticised the odd-even scheme from day one are asking people to bear the inconvenience of demonetization for a couple of days.

Regardless of the intention and motive, the implementation of this has been an epic blunder.
