The Era of AI in Auto mobiles Industry

It looks like virtual assistants are becoming the equivalent of the operating system in the 80s and 90s and Amazon’s going to license out Alexa like it’s Windows.

This is a missed opportunity for Google. They have all the resources to compete here. It’s reminiscent to how they missed out on social by entering the market too late.

On a side note; Alexa is already offering weather updates to commuters, and what the traffic is like on commute. Alexa can be tied into whatever services Amazon, or developers, want to. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201738160

I’m really curious to see how Apple fleshes out Siri in the future. What Amazon’s doing with Alexa seems like territory Apple’s usually hesitant to enter.
