Microsoft Unveils New ‘Fluent’ Office User Interface

Users of Microsoft can expect some big changes coming to their devices, as the company has unveiled a new set of preview apps for Office mobile.

The new versions come with one significant alteration above all – the integration of Microsoft’s new Fluent Design System – which is expected to also be arriving with Windows 10 this Fall. The Fluent Design – which was previously known as Project Neon – aims to provide a more ‘modern’ look across Windows and Office platforms, incorporating design elements such as transparency and blur effects.
And users should anticipate even more features rolling out in the near future, as Windows prepares for its big Fall Creators Update.
