Another Sequel of ‘The Social Network’ should be Made

In a recent video interview the Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin thinks there should be a ‘Social Network’ sequel.

I expected the first one to be a snooze fest and it was actually really good so I’d expect the same from a sequel, especially if they could get the same cast to return.

Aaron further revealed that he isn’t the only one who thinks so, either. Social Network producer Scott Rudin appears to be eager to get another Facebook movie off the ground. “I’ve gotten more than one email from him with an article attached saying, ‘Isn’t it time for a sequel?”’ said Sorkin, adding: “A lot of very interesting, dramatic stuff has happened since the movie ends with settling the lawsuit from the Winklevoss twins and Eduardo Saverin.” – THR

It would be awesome if it showed their senior staff, with malice of forethought, totally selling fake news ad placements to Russians and the alt-right, as well as real actual workers (not “the algorithm”) manually adding terms like White Genocide to marketing interfaces…because all of that is established fact and I’m sick and tired of it.

I think its the right time for another sequel highlighting the recent controversies. What do you think ?
